Maryland Handgun Qualification License Course

Conducted by a Multi-discipline Certified Law Enforcement Instructor.

This course is designed to provide the necessary training so that the Maryland resident can obtain the MD Handgun Qualification License.

Duration: 4-5 Hours
Course Cost: $50.00
Course goal: To provide shooters an introduction to the knowledge, skills and attitude needed to obtain the Maryland Handgun Qualification License.
Course Prerequisites: NONE
Course Subject Matter:

  • Pistol Knowledge and safe Gun Handling
  • Ammunition Knowledge and Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting
  • Firing the First Shots (including cleaning / storage)
  • One and Two handed standing shooting positions

Gear to bring to course: Your Maryland Drivers License with current address.
Course Completion: Participants will receive feedback on the live fire exercise and upon successful completion you will receive your qualification certificate.

  • Mobile Training Teams
  • 3rd Party Host Sites

EASY UPGRADE OPPORTUNITY

Many Maryland HQL course participants do not understand that most of the information covered in the MD HQL class also applies to the Utah Non-Resident Certified Firearms Permit (Utah Non-Resident CFP). Great Instructors

The instructors at Atlantic Tactical are very knowledgable and patient. I was able to learn about the law while improving my firearms skills. Highly recommended.
